Nandini Harish

Nandini is the founder and managing trustee of 'artma foundation'. Her compassionate and care giving nature of reaching out to people and being there for them has inspired number of developmental initiatives. She has played a pioneering role in the creation and growth of 'aarohana', a chamber music initiative and 'amogh', a charitable trust for the differently-abled. Her firm faith in people's potential makes her strive towards nurturing their talent, helping them develop their skills and realise their dreams.  

Nandini holds a masters degree in psychology and is a certified counsellor. Her passions include Carnatic music and fine art. She is an accomplished flautist and an artist who works from her art studio  'artma'   (https://nandinharish.wixsite.com/artma-studio ) in Bangalore. Her continuing quest is to make the journey through life more creative, wholesome and meaningful.

 Harish Devarajan

Harish, a founder-trustee of artma foundation is an alumnus of XLRI, Jamshedpur and former HR Head of Hindustan Unilever. He is currently a Leadership Coach and Consultant having his own firm known as 'People Unlimited'. He is involved with a number of social service organisations as a volunteer/ adviser. Harish's life goal is to make a positive difference to people and organisations that he engages with.

Shreyas Harish

Smriti is a founder-trustee of artma foundation.  She graduated from Christ University, Bangalore with a Computer Science (Hons) degree and has a PGDM-C in Strategic Communications and Marketing from MICA, Ahmedabad. She has ten years work experience working primarily with Amazon in India, UK and the USA across Marketing and Product management functions. Smriti is an avid reader with a flair for writing, a music lover and a talented violinist. She is an animal lover and is passionate about making a positive difference in the areas of Animal welfare, environment and education.

Shreyas is a founder-trustee of artma foundation. His aspiration is to leverage his talent and skills to improve the everyday lives of people. He is passionate about a better and more accessible education system. He graduated from IIT Madras with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science and a Management degree from IIM Ahmedabad. He is a published author of two books and is currently working as a consultant with McKinsey.

Avantika Mathur

Karthik is a member of the Advisory board of artma foundation. A native of Bangalore, Karthik has previously volunteered with NGOs such as Janaagraha ( increasing citizen participation in elections ), Habitat for Humanity ( building houses for the less privileged ) and the BITSAA ( fundraising for startups as part of the BITS Alumni Association ). For the past seven years, he has worked for Amazon in the supply chain and operations space across the US, Spain and India. He holds an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth (USA), and an engineering degree from BITS Pilani. In his free time, Karthik enjoys hiking, following football and mentoring postgraduates and young professionals on career options.

Avantika is a member of the Advisory board of artma foundation. She is passionate about social domains like education and environmental protection. She believes in leveraging her time and resources to make small incremental improvements for all stakeholders involved in these areas. She graduated from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies ( Delhi University ) with a degree in business management and then obtained an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. She currently works as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group, doing projects in the social sector.

Namrata Chakhaiyar

Namrata Chakhaiyar is a Reiki Master/ Teacher/ Healer and a professional Counsellor. She has been practicing Counselling and Reiki Healing internationally for the last 10 years during her stay in Dhaka, Budapest and Bangalore. She has also worked in School of Hope, a school for the economically disadvantaged children, in Bangladesh as a Board member and in a Children's Home in Budapest. Prior to this, she worked at Wipro in the software and HR fields for 13 years. Namrata extends invaluable support to artma foundation in its Shiksha initiatives.

Sujata Mathur

Sujata Mathur has been living in Bangalore for over three decades from the early 1980s. She taught Hindi for 4 years at Aditi Mallya International school till her husband was transferred to another city in 1995. On returning to Bangalore in 1997, she preferred to conduct Hindi classes from home and was a much in demand teacher with as many as 22 children attending her classes during the week. Sujata was associated with an NGO, Children's Movement for Civic Awareness and took weekly classes at DPS, Sarjapur Road for imparting civic awareness. She is a member of Innerwheel Club which does charitable work in many areas. Her hobbies include gardening, handicrafts and cooking. Sujata extends invaluable support to artma foundation in its Shiksha initiatives.

  Raji Gopal

Raji is a teaching professional with more than 25 years teaching experience at a private educational institute in Chennai.  Her focus has been on working with young children and enabling them develop a strong foundation in Mathematics and languages. 

She is known for her passion in cooking and has been an amazing home manager alongside her long career as a teacher. She is also known for her neat and highly meticulous nature that spills into every aspect of her life and work. She has touched many a life and is held with deep fondness and regard by one and all.

Raji extends invaluable support to artma foundation in its Shiksha and Swastika initiatives

 Hema Prasad

Hema's cheerful and enthusiastic energy has allowed her to reach many people over the last few years. Her positive disposition has helped her to work with children across several social organisations like Akansha and Shlok. She has a post graduate degree in Psychology and is a certified personal counselor. She's also a mom to two cats and enjoys learning Sanskrit on the side.

Hema extends invaluable support to artma foundation in its Shiksha initiatives.

Mustafa Moochhala

Mustafa has worked in both Corporate and Social sectors for over 30 years. He has worked in social organisations at the field and board levels. He has promoted micro-livelihoods in poor communities. He has promoted poultry farming and organising village level families into clusters and federations and created viable enterprises owned by them. He continues his association with the social sector by being on the board of couple of NGOs and acts as advisor and consultant to a couple more.

He has run profit centre operations in India and UK. He headed businesses in Consulting and Recruitment. He has set up from scratch, operations for these units. He has worked in the following organisations so far - Bradma, Modi Xerox, Pradan, Ma Foi and Innobridge.

He now works extensively with small organisations in areas of strategy and Organisation Development, across for-profit and not-for-profit sectors.

Mustafa extends invaluable support to artma foundation in its Shiksha initiatives.

Parents Association for Differently-Abled Adults (PADA)

PADA is an NGO that works to empower intellectually challenged adults for independent and inclusive living through experiential learning. Their training facility is called Rainbow Learning Centre (RLC).

artma foundation partners with PADA in helping students of Rainbow Learning Centre learn vocational skills. It also facilitates income generating activities for them, such as making of products like jute bags, eco-friendly dustbin liners, diyas and so on for sale.

Sri Sai Vidya Mandira

Sri Sai Vidya Mandira is a school in Bellandur, Bengaluru that caters to students coming from lower income strata of society. Most students studying in this school are first generation school goers.

artma foundation collaborates with Sri Sai Vidya Mandira and conducts workshops and training programmes for their students so as to help bridge the gap between these under privileged children and those coming from more educated, affluent family backgrounds.

Dogs Our Best Friends (DOBF)

DOBF is a charitable trust that manages Maruthy Dog Shelter, a home to more than a 100-member strong canine family. The shelter provides a safe, clean haven and nutritious food for dogs unable to fend for themselves on the streets. Old, injured, blind, partially crippled dogs, motherless puppies and abandoned pets, all of them find a home for themselves at the shelter and are cared for by DOBF. Vaccinations, regular health care and necessary medical treatment are given to the dogs.

artma foundation extends support to DOBF in its effort to safe guard the well being of the canine family at Maruthy Dog shelter.

Srushti Degree College

Srushti Degree College, an initiative of Srushti educational trust caters primarily to economically disadvantaged students from rural backgrounds. Their focus is nurturing innovation and entrepreneurial spirit of youngsters. 

The college is affiliated to Bangalore University and offers Undergraduate programmes in Commerce and Business Administration.

artma foundation supports Srushti Degree College in their social pursuit by designing and conducting training programmes and workshops for their students that enable them to carve out a good future for themselves.
